Marcus Kelcher and his family recently moved back to the KC area after being away for 17 years.  Marcus has been a part of high-end soccer in the Midwest for 20+ years.  The majority of our club leadership team originally met Marcus when he was the Director of Elite Girls Academy (now Gretna Elite Academy). While in Omaha, Marcus helped EGA / GEA establish itself as the leader in elite club development and college placement.  

After 15 years in Omaha, Marcus and his family moved to Dallas where Marcus worked with Dallas Sting’s ECNL program.  Marcus’s wife is originally from Kansas City and they recently moved back to the KC area for his wife to help with the family business.  Marcus and his wife April have 3 children:  Elijah (12), Noah (9), and Kennedy (4).  Marcus joins us at this time after working in the KC market with KCSG since May.

• 2008 NSCAA/ADIDAS Midwest Regional Youth Girls Coach of the Year

• Aided in the development of 3 NWSL Draft Picks

Fun Facts about Coach Marcus–

• Coach Brad and Marcus played against each other many years ago in local indoor leagues.

• Marcus coached one of our current club coaches (Emma Wilson) and was instrumental in her coming to KC to play at UMKC.

• Marcus also coached Rylan Childers (KCA Alumni) on his Gretna WPSL team.
