Zach grew up playing club soccer in Kansas City for FCKC and also played high school at Lee's Summit High School.  After high school, he played at Avila College while getting his degree in education.  After college, Zach coached at Grain Valley High School for 3 years before moving to Oak Grove High School where he teaches and coaches the boys' and girls' soccer teams.
