Mark grew up in a soccer family. His dad was a soccer coach and he and his older brothers all played club and school soccer in the Kansas City area. His family even owned a soccer store. His childhood was filled with watching games, soccer trips, soccer camps, and best of all making friends with his teammates.

Mark began coaching young soccer teams five years ago and loves watching the kids learn and develop as players. He is very excited to start his first year coaching in KC Athletics. When he's not coaching, he enjoys house projects, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife, two kids, and dog.
